My First Track Meet in 14 Years

After the 80 degree days we had last week, we're back to more typical March track meet weather today for our first meet...my first track meet in 14 years!  The forecast is 51 degrees and overcast.  I hope the kids bring sweats.  And I hope my hurdlers do well and no one gets hurt.

Over 20 boys and 20 girls wanted to hurdle in this meet, but I had to narrow it down to 6 and 6.  I guess I finally had to learn to say NO to the kids...and I said it and said it and said it...so many disappointments. I stand by my decision, though.  I had to chose the best six, and I did.  I'm so excited to see how my hurdlers and all of the kids do today.  Stay tuned for results...
